Quests, rewards and Plot Information in and around
Ahonaria
  • Info: Ahonaria is the local stronghold of the Anama church. They believe in not using mage spells. If you wish to join them, they will boost your priest ability (+2 levels priest spells skill, +3 magery, and +1 level of each spell you currently know), but they also remove your ability to cast mage spells. This makes the game a little harder (no haste, no arcane shield), so it’s probably not a good idea on your first run through. In order to join, speak with Alcander, then Meena.
  • Quest (Linasa): Slay the Chitrach Queen. Reward: Radiant Boots.
  • Quests (Kingsley): (i) Bring five chitrach claws. Reward: scrolls. (ii) Bring twenty more chitrach claws. Reward: Blessed Breastplate.

  • 2nd Anama Spellbook, upstairs in Ahonaria, if you have the Anama key: Divine Fire, Control Foe, Enduring Armor, Return Life.
  • Anama Quest (Alcander): Persuade Shafrir to stop mocking the Anama. Permanently persuade him. Reward: Frozen Blade.
  • There is a second, hidden Anama Quest to obtain the recipe for invulnerability potion from Melanchion. For whatever reason there is no way to obtain the quest legitimately within the game, it is only accessible by script-editing. If you want to take the risk, instructions here. Reward: grounding vest, and Brendan the alchemist will start to make Invulnerability Potion = 1 × mandrake root + 1 × graymold.
